The First Flyers book is the second book in the continuation of the Toothpick Airforce book series. The First Flyers book gives detailed instructions on how to build over 30 flying models of the early flying years of pioneering airplanes. Interesting airplane biographies are included of each design. The models in this book are more complicated than those of the Toothpick Airforce book - mainly because they are mostly biplanes - therefore we would recommend this book for more dedicated modelers. |
